What makes you tick?

Being challenged, feeling like I’m making an impact, and working with people who make me laugh. If I get to do all three of those things every day, it’s easy to love what I do!

Why are you so passionate about helping founders and/or services businesses?

Simply put, founders are awesome. They live and breathe their companies, and you can feel their passion when you work with them. Having passionate founder(s) is especially important in people-based businesses, where culture and reputation are paramount. When you find those companies with awesome founders, people, and culture, who have the mind set that they are going to take the world by storm, it’s a ton of fun.

What is a company you really admire and why?

Early 2000’s Apple. Sure, it might be cliche because they are also now the world’s largest company, but Jobs’ turnaround of Apple when he returned as CEO is just so impressive. His dedication to simplicity and creating “insanely great” products produced multiple category-creating technologies. As a result, Apple’s share price increased over 100x during Jobs’ second reign – wild!
